Come walk with me, along the sea
Where the sunshine warms the land
And search with me, for treasures free
Like agates in the sand
Come wade with me, into the sea
And roil the foaming waves
We'll speak in awe, of the things we saw
In the damp and darkling caves
We'll stand, so tall, on the high cliff wall
'Let the sea breeze fan our hair
'Watch the sand crabs crawl, hear the seagulls call
As they wheel upon the air
Then sleep so sound, hearing the waves pound
In the not-so-distant surf
Wake in the morn, to the old foghorn
As the new day's given birth
So come wade with me, into the sea
And roil the foaming waves
We'll speak in awe, of the things we saw
In the damp and darkling caves
We'll sit and chat, of this and that
As we watch the rolling waves
- Of our loved ones gone, and 'how before long
God will open up the graves
As we wipe our tears, reviewing the years
We'll rejoice in hope, so near
'Back to the sand we'll go, faces aglow
Sharing all we hold so dear
So come wade with me, into the sea
And roil the foaming waves
We'll speak in awe, of the things we saw
In the damp and darkling caves
Come walk with me, along the sea
Where the sunshine warms the land
And search with me, for treasures free
Like agates in the sand
Like agates in the sand
Like agates in the sand
